Fresh striping and new bike lanes are also part of the finished project.

The City of Fresno's three-month repaving of Kings Canyon Road between Willow and Clovis avenues is officially complete, and all four lanes reopened to normal speeds Wednesday morning, Public Works confirmed.
The $6.1 million project resurfaced roughly 1.4 miles of road, added new Class II bike lanes on both sides, and rebuilt the pedestrian crossings at Peach and Winery avenues. The corridor had been reduced to one lane in each direction since July.
"This was one of the most-requested repaving projects in the city, and we know it was disruptive. Thank you for the patience," Public Works director Scott Mozier said.
Crews will continue nighttime touch-up striping through the weekend, but there will be no lane closures during daytime hours.
