The Fresno State Farmers Market runs every Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. through November, adjacent to the Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market on Chestnut Avenue just south of Barstow.
The market features produce grown by students on the 1,000-acre university farm — expect tomatoes, peppers, and stone fruit in season — along with the university's well-known student-made cheeses, ice cream, and wines from the Fresno State Winery.
Admission is free and the market is open to the general public, not just students. Free parking is available in Lot P30. Reusable bags are encouraged.
