Fresno City Council agenda for Tuesday: homelessness funding and Airways Golf
Public comment on the Airways Golf item is expected to draw a large crowd.

The Fresno City Council meets Tuesday at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 2600 Fresno St, with a packed agenda that includes a $12 million homelessness services contract renewal and a long-anticipated discussion of the future of the Airways Golf Course in northeast Fresno.
The homelessness contract, with the Poverello House and RH Community Builders, would extend outreach and shelter services through 2027. Council staff recommends approval.
The Airways Golf item is a discussion-only agenda item, but public comment is expected to draw a large crowd of residents from the surrounding Hoover neighborhood, many of whom oppose earlier proposals to redevelop the course into housing.
The full agenda and public comment sign-up are posted at fresno.gov/citycouncil. Meetings are streamed live on the city's YouTube channel.
